San Luis Obispo city and county, in the middle of the spectacular California Central Coast, are small in population but have a big profile when it comes to high quality attractions. - Art After Dark - San Luis Obispo: First Fridays 5 to 8: Art Galleries remain open with special shows and host special events, often serving wine and hors d'ouevres.
- Hearst Castle: Tours of Many Kinds: You will enjoy seeing it again and again. The gardens will be lovely this spring. Call 800-444-4445.

San Luis Obispo Wine Country
Our county is one of the hottest places in the wine world right now. A visit to our wine country inn puts you within 20 to 25 minutes of dozens of the finest winemakers in California wine country. Many of them share their best efforts in wine tasting rooms open to the public. San Luis Creek Lodge is a member of the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance (our North county wine region-the association used to be called the Vintners and Growers Asso) and the San Luis Obispo Vintners and Growers Association (south county wine region). San Luis Obispo Restaurants and Shopping
Our San Luis Obispo bed and breakfast inn is within walking distance of 5 San Luis Obispo restaurants. Just with these five, you will find an amazing range of cuisine, all of it high quality. If you prefer, take the Trolley downtown (Thursday through Sunday) to walk around to find even greater variety, or drive to one of our easy parking garages (within about a mile) if you want to stay late to enjoy music or dancing. While you are downtown, you will find shop after charming shop to browse.
Outdoors and Golf
San Luis Obispo County is all about outdoors. It's your choice whether you want to challenge a tough mountain biking trail or one of our championship courses, or whatever. On any given night, you can find world class entertainment somewhere in San Luis Obispo.
