San Luis Obispo wine country is California's fastest growing wine region, with wines gaining recognition world wide.  This region is leading the resurgence of Rhone varietals like Syrah, Grenache and Viognier.  Visit both areas within the county:  San Luis Obispo wine region in South county and Paso Robles wine region in North county.  They are different from each other, yet close by, and both are wonderful.  They are easily good enough to plan your entire trip around them--and San Luis Creek Lodge is midway between them.
